I really fell in love with this waterfall "Fraga de Pena" ,a magical place hidden in the mountains of Serra do Açor in the center region of Portugal
500km from my house to photograph this beautiful , unspoiled nature santuary...and I will be back!
A waterfall is usually a geological formation resulting from water, often in the form of a stream, flowing over an erosion-resistant rock formation that forms a sudden break in elevation or nickpoint.
Some waterfalls form in mountain environments where the erosive water force is high and stream courses may be subject to sudden and catastrophic change. In such cases, the waterfall may not be the end product of many years of water action over a region, but rather the result of relatively sudden geological processes such as landslides, faults or volcanic action.
Waterfalls may also be artificial, and they are sometimes created as garden and landscape ornaments.(wikipedia) |

Hello Pedro,
Really very nicely Composed. I love the effect you have capture with the motion of the water. I have seen many water motion photos but yours has a uniqueness to it, especially with the stone in the foreground half sharp half blurred.
Very effective photo,
regards
Matt.
Hi Pedro.
Very beautiful. Great colour and composition. Lovely long shutter speed. I love those pebbles in the foreground. Very lovely, well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hi, my dear friend.
Another terrific shot of the same place but so different look. I am impressed with the lowest POV and wide angle view. The image of pebbles and water surface also as well as the water fall, rocks and vegetation are superb. Great cropping and composition, as usual for your works. My heart wishes and TFS.
Alexei.
This is a very impressive perspective with original composition, excellent colors and exposure. I like this picture a lot. Well done Pedro! Thanks,
Claudine
