Though not from a perfect POV, this is otherwise a fine capture of this shy bird, the European Jay, the visible parts being captured with good sharpness. Nice to see the blue pattern on the wing and the eye contact is excellent in this well-composed shot.

Hi Cristian.
Few days ago I have tried to catch this bird too with my 80-200 mm lens. It is really difficult task. In my case the key weak point was small tree twigs in front of bird. In a word I could not take good shots. Despite the light BG you managed to get nicely exposed shot. I like close-shooting distance too as well as diagonal composition of the image. Bird image is soft a little bit but it is not a point. My kind regards and TFS.

The Jay is pretty hard to get close to here so you're lucky to have got this capture even if the branches are rather dominating. Great focus on the eye and I like the glimpse of the beautiful blue on the wing. I also like the diagonal composition.

Bu kestane kargasını alttan bir bakış açısıyla çok güzel kaydetmişsin. Kuş fotoğraflarında göz seviyesinde ve karşıdan çekim idealse de herzaman bu mümkün olmuyor. Buna rağmen bu kare oldukça iyi sayılır. Renkleri ve göz ayrıntıları enfes olmuş.

A good close up of this Eurasian Jay.
Very good facial detail and eye catch light,showing the iris and pupil.
Good natural colour.
The plumage detail is well defined.
