| Vulcanii noroiosi reprezents a botanic and geological rezervation situated in Berca, Buzau! The coordinates are 45°21'30"N, 26°42'46"E.They are formed by the natural metan gas that came up to the surface from 3000 meters deep in the earth. That gas push out the water combined with clay. The mod formed thorough this procedure is comming to surface and , when make contact with the oxygene the soil is driyng up and formes conic structures like vulcanoes. The mud wich came to the surface is cold because it came from the clay sections. |

Interesting comment and very futuristic pic! Can you tell me the dimensions of this vulcan please? Thanks, CarOze
Dear U'anu,
Thanks for showing us something very different & rare surface activity. It has proper details, sharpness & excellent POV. The pattern created by the mud is unique. TFS.
Regards-Subhash
PS: Even I want to know about the dimensions please.
Apparently, it is an aerial picture and it stuns for its sheer impact, Liviu.
The crater looks like a huge cauldron with the mud boiling inside it. But the mud is cold, as your note suggests.
A very impressive and informative documentation of the volcanic activity.
