The Male Moor Frog develop its blue color in the breeding time. This pair of frogs were captured before they reached the breeding place, thus the male find its female on its way to the meeting point. The male color is still unchanged - this is why this picture is important.

Very nice capture and really well timed moment. The light is great to show focus sharpness and the frogs looking very tired?

Too bad they did not put up this sign to warn you - DO NOT DISTRUB!...love is in the grass
