Hi!

just back from field (bad weather and an accident).

this is Ischnura pumilio var. aurantiaca (the smallest species of damselflies from Romania, and i think from Europe, specially male are smaller).

this form (aurantiaca) is considered by some to just a form of young female but from my observation, is persistent, also this is rare (i have observed this just in two places).

the picture was taken in a small reserv, Mestecanisul de la Reci (in translation something like Birch forest from Reci), my first time there. and the place is very nice. taken with telezoomlens at 100mm with ring to reduce focal lenght.

Really I just "discovered" your macros and because it is 2 a.m. ;) I will come back with more comments to other pictures in the morning :)
This is a very good picture with nice DOF and POV. I like also the note but one correction should be added. The smallest European species of Odonata is Nehalennia speciosa.
Anyway, very nice presentation!
