centre of "X" because he stay just in the centre of "X" :)

again something about the place.
Garboavele Forest is a small forest reserve from the south of Moldova. the forest is a very dry one, the species present there are Quercus pedunculiflora, Cotinus coggygria and manny other dry specific species. the forest is very special at the end of april or first day of may when Paeonia (Peony) is in blossom and where the species is present the forest is like in fire. also there is also a Peony festival in that time, with bad repercusion for the plant because all people take some at home... and not only couple of people... but this is the human way (at least so appear) to destroy...

hand held at 125 mm with my zoom lens with extending tube to reduce focal lenght (old macro way).
minor PP just some contrast/rightness, USM, a little crop and resize for TN (also added my nickname there).

i hope you will like,

Hi Cosmin,

Another fab macro shot. Great sharpness and BG, however, I still prefer yesterdays post over it even though this image is brighter overall. I don't think it is quite as natural looking as the other. The highlights seem a little too bright here but then again it also appears a little sharper. But cool composition a reverse of the other and you have that X. Nice work.

All the best
Simon
