Beautiful macro shot of the small bug! I like the metallic colors of teh insect against the green leaf. The contrast is simply amazing. The sharpness and POV are wonderful. Great job!

Cred ca apartine familiei Crisomelidae, insa sunt ceva discutii legate de specie. Am fi eu o fotografie asemanatoare, si de aici zic ca sunt ceva discutii.
Stiu doar ca sunt destul de greu de fotografiat, datorita reflexelor puternice si faptului ca sunt destul de mici.

Hi Alin,
This insect has a relative in Thailand. There is a look alike species, except the metallic color, around my area. Nice picture. Very well done and tfs.

Hello Alin,

very nice, the way you show that leaf beatle's brilliant metallic lustre, standing out very well from the greenbackground by a perfectly well chosen point of view.

The beetle's iD seems to be
Chrysolina fastuosa (Scopoli, 1763),

but there are several similar species from the family of Chrysomelidae (Leaf Beetles).
