Gagea lutea - Yellow Star-of-Bethlehem
Kingdom: Plantae
Division: Magnoliophyta
Class: Liliopsida
Order: Liliales
Family: Liliaceae
Genus: Gagea
Gagea is a large genus of spring flowers in the Liliaceae found in Europe and western Asia. It is named after the English naturalist Sir Thomas Gage. They were originally described as species of Ornithogalum, which, together with the usual yellow colour of the flowers, explains the English name Yellow Star-of-Bethlehem for the most common species in Europe, Gagea lutea, which grows in damp deciduous woodland.

Buna Cezar,
Imi place foarte mult fotografia ta. DOF-ul este foarte bun redand bine detaliile florilor. Chiar daca POV este clasic fotografia este dinamica iar concentrarea florilor intr-o extrema se dovedeste a fi o alegere inspirata.
Toate cele bune,
Cristian

Hi Cezar.
Wonderful true spring shot of first charming flowers surrounding by last year dry leaves. Superb soft light and bright colours. I like wide DOF and excellent details of the entire scene. Well done and TFS.
Alexei.
