Here is a common orange lichen (Xanthoria parietina) in sunset light, in a garden. This one is on a branch, but you can also find it on rocks, or walls. This is a widespread species, from Europe to Asia, Australia, Africa and North America. Because of its high resistance to air pollution, it can often be found near populated areas.
