[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This morning I went in a very short trip at 15 km. to Tulcea, my city, to see what is happening in the Kestrel nest (Kestrel prosted in "The Destiny").

In the nest, four fussing kestrel chicken, each one trying to practice the flight. As you can see, there are not enough space for all the chicken so, the strongist conquered the place, insensible to the others protest.

Canon 30D + Canon EF 400 f5,6L USM + 1,4 TC Tamron, shutter priority, 1/500 sec., 160 ISO, f=5,6, from my car.

This is a exclusive photo. The scene is wonderful. The attempt to a first flight encouraged by one of the parents. Great sharpness, details and beautiful natural colours.

Okay, I have to know: is the youngster behind him screaming for him to hurry up so he can test his own wings? I love the expressions here. One meets your eye, but decides flight is more important, the one behind the one trying to take flight doesn't care about you - he simply wants his turn, and it is simply put: a bit of rivalry between siblings.

I love how they blend into the background, yet at the same time, you managed to get the colors of their eyes and beaks without washing them out. I'm impressed.

The framing and composition is awesome. Thanks for sharing this.

Buna Dan,

Am lipsit o vreme de pe TN iar acum revenind gasesc cu placere excelentele tale fotografii. Este superba postura in care ai fotografiat pasarea. Desigur la reusita fotografiei contribuie si excelenta calitate a imaginii precum si fundalul deosebit de bine redat.

se pare ca de rapa-malul asta profita multe pasari sa-si faca cuib.
Am gasit si eu ceva asemanator langa Mahmudia, o rapa unde aveau cuiburi in special prigorile.
