[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not spectacular like many sunsets that I have seen, but I like it. I took it in the first evening spent in the Danube Delta. The colours are very bright or too strong because the sky itself it was not really extraordinary. But I liked the small channel that foresee between the aquatic vegetation. It was in fact a dead end, like many in the Delta. But this contrary to the fact that the water was stagnant, plenty of life was surrounding the water. My father caught 5 species of fish, many birds and insects were flying around. And, speaking about insects, there is a species that after a particular hour in the evening will be capable to “kill” you with her bites. I am speaking about mosquitoes. With all the anti-mosquitoes spray, clothes, you cannot resist them. They attached you in high number, and your last option is to run. So, I hope that you will understand why I did not wait for something more spectacular on his channel. The mosquitoes are guilty.
Some post-processing: increase saturation, adding a frame.

Hi Oana,
I love the softness of this photo. It has a wonderful dreamly feel to it. Not only because the soft colors but also because of the soft texture. The composition is good, with a nice FG interest a water way that takes you up the photo to the colored sky.

Hello Oana,
A very nice place to go with your father, even if there are a lot of mosquitos. I like this subtle shot, no need for spectacular colors (in fact they appear very often too "kitsch" on photos). I like your vertical framing too. A shot wich reminds me in its spirit of some of Horia's pictures.

era sa-mi scape aceasta imagine si tocmai din Delta !!!
Dar iata ca am ... "indreptat" acesta stare. Faina imagine cu niste culori interesante.
Am si eu in intentie sa postez niste apusuri din Croatia.

Mosquitos seem to be just as hungry in your country than in mine, I see ! :-) But still you managed to get an awesome picture, maybe not spectacular, but very peautiful in its own peaceful and discrete way. I love the mood and atmosphere of this picture. I alo like how the picture was composed, and the colors look very natural, giving something like a bit of mystery to this wonderful landscape. Very well done !

Hello Oana.

Thank you for that nice sunset. You write "not spectacular like many ...". Well, I would like to say, "More spectacular" : you have given us a good representation from the end of the day on the river. I appreciate particularly the soft colors, the nice contrast and the good depth of field. With taht picture, I have the feeling to be on the river, in a small canoe and to hear the birds.
