Hi Baratom Jozsef,

An excellent capture of this lovely duck in a fine pose.
Since i am in journey and have limited internet connection, sorry i could not write more.
Take care! Cheers,

Bayram

Hola Szabo, a mi me parece también A. fabae, pero su parecido con A. albiforms y A. erythropus es mucha !! Creo que ha de intervenir un experto :-)

Acertado fondo y muy buenas iluminaciones, aunque con excesico ruido (grano).

Saludos y buena semana: J. Ignasi.

hello Szabo
I believe that yes is Bean Goose, the clarity does not help, the scene is good with a fine pose the bird, but very enlarged!
TFS thanks for sharing

Hi Szabo
the dark face between the eye and the bill is very typical for juvenile Anser albifrons

Hello Jozsef,
A fine capture of what I think is a hybrid between Anser anser and A. fabalis. Taken from a fine low lateral POV with good sharpness, though there is some BG noise.
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan

Hi Jozsef,
I believe that this is a juvenile Anser albifrons, although you can never be sure with geese :)
Why do I tend to A. albifrons rather than A. fabalis or A. anser? The bird you presented to us has a darker feather colour near the base of the bill, contrasting with a paler cheek (A. fabalis has a whole dark face, A. anser rather paler). The other thing is that feathers seen on the upper part of the body don't seem to have clear white borders - both of the other species do present clearly visible white borders. In addition, there is no dark part of the bill. A partly dark bill is, in general, a feature of A. fabalis.

So, my guess is a juvenile Anser albifrons.

Hi Szabo,

Nice closeup capture of the beautiful mallard with great details! I like the sharpness and POV here with great natural colors. A great contrast can be seen between the colors of the mallard and the green surroundings.
Well done!

Sorry, I can't help you in identifying this bird.

best regards,
Paras
