Nice shot! Great POV and composition. The background is also nicely blurred. The rear part of the insect is not as sharp as the front and is slightly out of focus though.

congrats on the 100th. I'll wish it only just the very beginning of your gallery. Your image shows very well the details. That's why I like your close up: these blue eyes are great. Also nice DOF with the sharpness gradually fading away.

Sharp with brilliant POV and DOF.
These damselflies are extremely hard to photograph as they keep flying off, and are really fast flying aswell!
I think you should keep 100th as a title because it attracts more members and your 100th photo is special so people
should know that.

You're right, a tough choice between this picture or the other one at the workshop.
But in this one, that stunning big blue eyes are the main protagonist here!
It fills every thing around. Great macro job done.
The inclination of the branch/insect makes this an excellent composition.
I want to thank you too for your active and prolific participation here.
And hopefully -for us- you will remain thirsty for the many years still to come... :-)

ici c'est comme toujours tres bon avec quand même un peu de grain residuel sur le BG,mais rien de tres genant.
