Hello Horia,
Ritchie Blackmore's strumming well written in this composition. Fog rising out from the surface always make good picture. Good fg and bg clarity against those trees and the reflection.

I see the "smoke" on the water, but where's the "fire" in the sky ;}
Just enough mist rising off the water to add, without obscuring the reflection or tree bank..Nice FG interest too :)
Very good exposure, color, and use of the cokin filter as well.

Typical winter mood, where the temperature difference between water and air creates this local "fog"..!
I like the composition with the hint of reflections, and the old trunk in front is an amazing element...

I see you study new filters. You have an amazing result. Colour pattern of your shot is fine, rich, diverse and pleasant. Sky and its reflection are wonderful. Colour palette is combine with crisp sharpness perfectly. DOF is really superb. Vertical orientation of the image is the best as well as the composition of the picture. Hello Horia,

Cliched title or not, it doesn't detract from this fine shot!! The mist really makes the shot, the warm colour of the sun contrast beautifully with the blue, and you're right, the log makes a great lead-in foreground interest - great work :-)

This seems to be an exciting new stage in your work.
I figured out this represents in certain sense a renewal of your approach and interest in the photography. So great for the new additions to your equipment.
Like always, the image talks by itself, it has character and strength.
Both gradations, -top and down- works great, the inclined trunk on the water complements and balances so well the composition.

Hello Horia,
Great shot with a great title. The effect of the thermal pond is special on a winter's day and the stratification of the light with the band of mist running through the middle of the image is unique and well framed by the dark top and bottom. Great composition especially with the log jutting out into the water.
Must be a marvellous place for wildlife and now I see where you took many of your pics!

a beautiful pictures with very nice smoke.
The colours are lovley and the exposure are also very good.
But I don't understand why a ND-filter for this one, since you
used ISO 200, ND is only for reduce light but if you used a
gradu-filter I could uderstand it better, nevertheless it's a beautiful picture.

This caught my eye as soon as I looked at your gallery. You made excellent work out of your new filters. You are really getting to grips with your camera. I think this is stunning with a perfect capture of the thermal gases. The composition is spot on with the FG detail leading us in. Beautiful colours and great reflection of the trees.

Hi Horia,
Great to see that you have your set of filters. This surely will help you to make even more beautiful photo. The result of the filter is surely visable here. The exposure is just spot on. I like the way the light has illuminated the mist and grass and gave them this wonderful warm golden tone. The log in the FG is perfectly placed and adds a good feel of depth.
