Hello Horia,
a beautiful natural presentation of the frog and its environment. The picture is well composed with respect to geometry and colours. Most of all, I like the natural setting - the trunk, the lichens and the frog!

This is really goldie! :-)
Everything is so good here:
The inclination of the trunk, its textures, the yellow lichens, -that add that colour accent to the image- and of course the stunning green colour and texture of the frog's skin.
You did great with the nicely blurred background.

I can see why the Tree Frog is one of your favorite subjects. They are so interesting to look at plus their colour is so brilliant. This little guy sitting on a tree is a wonderful composition. The lime green frog against the ruff tree bark is a nice compliment of colour. Plus the lichens on the tree just add more intrest. Well done!!

A very attractive image focusing on the frog, and the subject is captured with superb details...
I notice the yellow lichen that makes a fine colour contrast and enhances the frog!

What a wonderful photo of this tree frog. The frog is a stunning colour and the texture of it's skin is well rendered. I like the contrast of the frog against it's surroundings, the out of focus background emphasizes the subject nicely. Well done!

Hello Horia,
simple and strong composition, fine details, brilliant colours. The tree frog never fails to enchant me. So sorry that I haven't seen one for many years, having witnessed the rapid decline of its population around here, for reasons unknown as we do have plenty of seemingly undisturbed wetlands along the Danube and some of its side rivers. Thanks for the Amphibiaweb link!
The lichens are something very special on this image, too. Very nice picture, very nice place.

This may be an 'oldie' but it is an excellent capture of the European Tree frog set in a superb composition and the inclusion of the lichens, on the branch that it is on, is great and form a fine contrast. Excellent sharpness and bokeh BG.
