Hi again everybody

Today’s dedication goes to a lovely pair of photographers - Gregory and Cecilia Lazzaro (glazzaro and cecilia).
I've always loved and admired their photos and their dedication for the "job" :)

I've decided to choose this picture for them because it sort-of looks similar to most of theirs: one branch - one animal and the rest is a blurry BG :))

I also know that some of you really requested a head-turn in my past frog pictures...so here it is ;)

...in case you didn't get bored of me telling you this, this is a Common Tree Frog - Hyla arborea and i believe you can find something about it in any of my numerous last picture :)

Hope you'll like it :)

A perfect pose, Horia.
I love the way frogs hang on to branches, and still be able to do all sorts of acrobatics on them. Excellent exposure and very fine details. That's a beautiful deep green. TFS. : )

Hi Horia,
the pose and composition are really good in this picture and tree frogs are so thankful objects to take pictures of.
The fact that you used the flash method creates a slight problem here. There's quite some reflection (white) on the back of the frog. I have that most of the time I take pictures of frogs. with a little post processing you can do some selective highlight reduction or a more serious action would be to replace colours.
But these minor nits don't conceil the fact that I think it's a nice picture.
Cheers and a good weekend
JAcob

Hi Horia

This is a lovely and apt tribute to Greg and Cecilia. The shot is of high quality and your subject is adorable! I love the textures you have captured in it's skin. The composition is faultless. Stunning work and a pleasure to view. Thank you! :-)

Ciao Horia, how are you?
Nice shot rich in colors and well detailed.
I see you are partially color-blind, but your pics are always well balanced, how can you do that?
Your dog is nice! I've one that looks like your but smaller... it's a female, I love her!
Bye bye

Hi Horia.
And you still doubted of expediency of posting of frog images.
Really perfect combination of greatly detailed and sharpened frog and twig and excellently blurred BG. As usual outstanding reproduction of skin texture and mood of the frog. Nice composition and pleasant cold colours. My best wishes and compliments.
Alexei.

Hi Horia,
You know what I think about flash; and I don't have to verify the metadata.
Nevertheless once again very good compo.
Wish you a good weekend;-)

Scarce DOF generates an excellent contrast on the diffuse bottom.
The use of flash has produced some undesirable reflection, but I presume that for the used speed the conditions were not the ideals.

Hello Horia,
We are well acquainted with your green tree frogs and I am sure everyone loves to look at them because you always present them well.
I like the position in which you have captured it holding the stem of a plant. The turned head position shows that the fellow is content with the world -- almost on 'top' of it actually :-)!
This well captured picture should make the recipients of your dedication Greg and Cecilia quite happy.
Best regards,
Ram

Hello Horia,
You caught another climbing frog! What it is with you? I guess that you tame them and show them how to pose for pictures, yes that's it :)! This is a very nice picture and the pose from your little model is priceless. I like the brilliance the flash created. This is beautiful! Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Horia.
How you say:"one branch - one animal and the rest is a blurry BG".Sounds it simply, but you you know as though it do simple isn't.
You are it made really greatly.OOF background is perfect and gives well emphasis on lovely position of this frog with sharp details and splendid colours.Beautiful composition with nice POV and very good DOF.
Superb done,my admiration and thank you for sharing.
Best greetings Milos

You have some of the best shots of tree frogs in TN.
I dont know hoaw you always manage to get this nice compositions, they always seem to be posing for you.
The textures and colours on the skin are really lovely.
Best regards and congratulations, MF.

I think one of these days I may have to start photo-ing frogs. This is a wonderful picture with loads of detail and sharpness. I can't beleive that you have and continue to, pull this off with close up filters on a powershot.

Have you considered ever purchasing a full dSLR - I think you would be amazing with it.

As I am sure everyone else has already said - the DOF, POV and details, saturation, composition are all excellent and really make this picture something unique.

Hallo Horia
Pleased to meet you. Now for starters you must be wondering why I went back a year on your postings. Going through the web pages on Trek Nature is a new adventure every time, and I can understand why it is so difficult to get away from the PC. There are just so many talented photographers on the site and they all have such spectacular portfolios. I have missed out so many wonderful photos. In my search I came across this lovely dedication to Greg and Cecilia" Hyla" and it definitely deserves a smiley. Details are razor sharp with nothing out of place. I just love the round eyes, the "polished “green body the jellybean yellow legs. It seems as if he is clinging on for dear life. I enjoyed looking at it. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
