Thanks for the dedication - I am very flattered. This is a superb shot - the colours and composition are both exquisite. You have captured what looks like an approaching 'front' very well. The clouds are cirrus leading into cirro-stratus - very beautiful.

And thank you for remembering us the lead song of one of the best pop group the world ever had: Deep Purple, Smoke on the Water... a song, that was born while the Casino of Montreux burnt down in 1971. I was young then, and a fan of Deep Purple...

nice to see your latest offering! i think the thing that strikes me here first, is the way the ice seems to almost merge with the sky in tone and colour...although that sky is very impressive in it's own right! You've taken full advantage of those clouds here, they are almost ghost like, ethereal even.
What i also like is the splash of yellow in the right hand side too...i am curious, was there more of this colour in the sky to be used? I only ask because perhaps it could've added more colour to the shot as a whole...although perhaps this is not the effect you wanted! Either way, this works for me beautifully...well done indeed, as always.

What an amazing sky you have got here!
The wide angular worked great to have such cloud's formations in the way it is.
The subtle tones got are so delicate and transmits a peaceful sensation.
Very good the effect got with the filter and that gradations at the top of the image.

Once more art picture form you and excellent use of camera/lens features. Pictured scene are great but I see you in it and your skill. Great blur effect with extreme sharpness of the land (lake), terrific delicate colour palette. I feel the movements of the clouds. Bravo. Great work of landscape writer.

Fabulous and dreamlike landscape. Horia, those places you make us visit are fantastic and wonderful. I love those sceneries, you paint with light and very well, you could come from a lineage of painters that's old as history. You make me want to visit Romania... by showing us another side of this country that I find fascinating. Thank you!

Hello Horia,

This is surely one beautiful cloud formation. I like the colors along the horizon with white cloud bursting up the blue sky. The small islands make good perspective of this wide sky exposure shot.

Two things captue my eyes here, first the amazingly beautiful pattern in the sky, next the wonderful and unusual colours of the same!
It is interesting to see how clouds in different altitudes are affected by the light, as the low ones remains in the shades...
A piece of art that also would look good on the wall!

This is a great shot Horia. I really like the stitched version also. It is quite dramatic. The wide angle really enhances the sweep of the clouds. I like the subtle colors too.
