Hello again everyone

Still pressured by time, i'm afraid, but i hope i will find some more time in the weekend as we have bad weather on the news so probably any photo opportunities are out :(

This is another shot(s) taken the same time as my last posting. It's a 3 image stitch - shot horizontally in Manual mode. Again i used both the circular polarizer and a Coking ND Grad. filter to tone down the light in the sky and try to get a decent reflection on the water.

There was quite a lot of wind that evening at these small lakes near my hometown, so i tried to retain as much as i could from the ripples on the surface of the water.

Hope you'll like it :)

Hi,
Just marking it for now, BRB!
Goldy

Hi Horia!

You did a great work for a great result! I know what it means to stitch pictures manually together - I never have made it! At least on this little picture there's no visible trace of that work.

I'm also impressed by the clever and expert use of the two filters. The combination of them allowed you a perfect lighting although this was certainly not easy under theses conditions.

Moreover, beside these technical considerations, your picture and the atmosphere it generates is very pleasant.

Kind regards

Markus

This is superb, Horia. It is dark and windy, the sun has totally disappeared and the view is fantastic. I like those colours you captured with the fine and subtle pink tones of the sunsetting. The tall grass up front give an entrance to the eyes. This is beautiful once more!

Hi Horia

Great shot. Love the composition. Great use of the filters to get a stunning picture. Missing my landscapes at the moment, have been too ill to get out! So it is nice to see others managing it for me ;-)

Take care

Emma

Hello!
Another magic shot from your recent trip to this beauitful spot. Very impressive work on the stitching of these three, it is seemless. The light is just magic.
Have a good weekend my friend,
Paul

I know how hard it is to stitch correctly. My son took a long course in it during his studies at the university. He is taking photography and film media. My son the Hollywood actor:-) anyway...a fine image and typical of your great works..you haev been missed. I hope you have more time to post soon?!
Bob

Hola Horia,
Precioso paisaje de bella composición, magnífica luz conseguida, buen trabajo. Saludos

Hello Horia
To me the only shame is that the size of the upload does not do justice to your fantastic work...You have taken and stitched the shots perfectly so the end result is as one.
It is truly fantastic work and another style of photography that you have mastered superbly.
My best regards
Paul

Hello Horia,
Hope all is well with you, good to see you're still posting. A nice expansive image, great detail. Good work on the stitch too. I think it's a little dark, I'm struggling to pick out any detail in the foreground. Maybe a stronger ND Grad filter for the sky would enable some more light in the foreground? Or perhaps some HDR work, this looks like a good candidate for HDR processing. Doesn't a CP get rid of reflections? Please excuse my ignorance if not, landscape photography is still a mystery to me :-)
Best regards,
Adrian

Hi Horia!

Perfect stitching and good result with the ripples, broken by the line of water plants. That part looks especially great. But the whole scene is beautiful, the whole sunset part of the sky is very well composed in. The fg vegetation makes your lake recognizable right away! Good to see you back, TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Lovely composition with it framed with the grasses at the lower end.
I like the colours and lighting too.

Hi Horia,
Excellent sunset shot and very skillful handling of natural light. Very soothing and pleasant image which looks so cool. The sky looks marvellous and the rippled water with the reflection creates a fine effect. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Horia,
That cloud formation adds attraction to the image!
The colours are not dramatic like some sunsets but even more attractive as the scenery here is peaceful and relaxing...
A well balanced composition with good division of the frame and a fine sense of depth!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Horia,
Moody image. You can see it was pretty windy...
Well done
TFS
