Hi Horia
Unusual shot. I like it very much. Interesting DOF fun. Do you remember the film Robin Hood with Clannad music. Your photo has a similar mood

I am so pleased you are back to posting and your perfect treescape of quite some depth, gives me reason to go back to my landscapes soon....Very nicely done and an eye pleaser as well as something which draws me much further into the image!

Hello Horia,
Good idea and experiment if I may call like that. The trees are sharp versus the unsharp leaves due to the long shutter speed and the windy conditions.
More than a forest depicted here, it's getting something mysterious and dreamy.
Well done, Horia.

Horia,
You've captured motion(of the wind) very well, indeed.
I can't help wondering why you've given the trees an indigo tint, though..And that's not taking away anything from this beautiful shot...Just wondering...
Cheers!

Bravo, Horia.
You are true artist. I like your superb creative approach and fantastic of expressiveness result. I cannot imagine this idea. The green leaves and small twigs look like small clouds on a BG which is created by solid powerful trunks. Bravo. Excellent job. I welcome it warmly.

Very good to see you experimenting!
I love the effect the long exposure has given to the wind-blown leaves and branches.
Excellent composition too.
Love it!!!
Well done Horia!

Hi Horia
First let me congratulate you on trying something completely different and succeeding in creating a pleasant peaceful yet somewhat dreamy image that is soothing and relaxing on the senses. It's those trees and the greenery that does it. As you said, the vertical lines are still and this caused strong and sharply focused lines while the horizontal lines are blurry and soft and this really gives the shot its wonderful dreamy effect. Somewhere in between this all I was expecting to so some kind of a 'Jack in the Beanstalk' character lurking in the background (chuckle).
The horizontal composition worked well for this shot. The fact that you selected 3 trees as main subjects also shows that you kept some 'rules of composition' in mind. The lovely textures of the tree surfaces and the deep saturated colours fall well on the eyes. Although one cannot really see that deep into the bushes one still gets a tremendous sense of depth due to the amazing aperture setting at f/32. The combination with the 5 second shutter speed of course created the wonderful movement of the leaves resulting in the blurry outcome, but it also ensured the well controlled exposure levels.
Good work and TFS.
Regards

Hi Horia!
You certainly imagine that I appreciate that kind of pictures very much. I especially find the blurred spots in the foreground good and interesting. They give the picture a special touch and suit the title very well. I also like the vertical composition, but regret a little bit the lack of light. A little glow on a part of these trees would be welcome.
Kind regards
Markus

Yes, it is rather abstract but I quite like the look of the new growth looking so blurred, but also so green.
Nice one Horia

Buna Horia
Ma bucur ca mai pot admira din cand in cand fotografiile tale exceptionale!E o imagine simpla, care imi aminteste de padurile pe care le cutreieram...
Imi place contrastul puternic dintre verdele crud si tulpinile (fagi??)copacilor.
Numai bine

Hello Horia, Nice shot of this green foresh and good note. The blurred image of the green just adds to the liveness. Ganesh

Hello Horia,
Dense forest always carry an atmosphere of mystery, making us wonder what we may find in there..!
I like this depiction, fine repetition effect in the contrasty trunks and the frame has a good sense of depth...
Lovely spring colours, never is the green as green as in spring!

Hello Horia,
Interesting experiment resulting in ultra-sharp tree trunks as far as the eye can see with 'clouds' of fresh green leaves around giving a surrealistic effect: like a dream!
We need you to try out such things to add to the diversity of TN.
Thanks for that, Horia!
Best wishes, Ivan

Hi Horia,
Wow....this is a very skillful work and you have presented a masterpiece here. The blur on the leaves gives such an outstanding visual with the sharp tree trunks standing atll. Very creative and artful. Great management of available lighting and I like the dense setting and symmetrical alignment. Simply majestic. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hi Horia,
This one ticked all the boxes. Just a shear stunner. The colors and composition also give me a relax and smoothing feel. I think I want to remember this one even more and put it in my favorites. It surely is an inspirational one.
