Hello Horia,
After the big V, a nice preentation of the small one :-) I have a big sentiment to stream gorges for their mysterious dark character, colours, interesting flora and fauna. Often they are like oases in otherwise dry landscapes (particularly in southern Europe). Besides, I like pictures with blurred water. Your picture presents the environment in a great way.

Hello Horia,
The golden and the siver purling brook meeting. It is a marvellous story and a very pleasant sight. You have chosen the ideal point of view, showing marvellously well the difference of both of them, due also I suppose to the light. I also like the vertical framing, offering a view on the background and on the sky. Very well done

After picture with "bigger V", today a smaller one ;) Nice autumn picture Horia! You kept the beauty of this period of year with great colours and light. I must say that this is not my favourite period of year, but in your photo it simly looks great :)

Hi Horia,
I am not sure, but it looks like you need to write a little oops. It feels that the photo is tilted to the right.
I really like that you've caught such clear evidence that indirect light is as important then direct light. The reflecting light of the sunny slope gave the water a wonderful color. The pefect contrast with the cool blue is ofcourse magnificent. Its a pitty that the color fringing of this lens is so much visable.

I can almost hear the trickle of the stream in this lovely woodland! Wonderful contrasts in light and shade here and I like the beautiful carpet of leaves on the ground. A beautiful composition too.

Once more brilliant art picture from you, my friend. I am amazed with richness and beautifulness of colour palette. We can see wide range of lovely colours. POV is selected perfectly too. Pictured view is fine and applied technique has brought terrific result. I also am impressed with great exposure. All fine captured objects are exposed and detailed very well. My best wishes and TFS.

Hi Horia. This is beautiful. well woth your trip to see and get a picture. You have a good compostion taking in the the stream. I like the way you have captured the light though the tree. I see the tree in the foreground has a V in the trunk. well done TFS.

imi place compozitia dar consider suparator faptul ca _culoarea albastra a cerului a intrat peste crengile copacilor.

eu zic ca se poate elimina destul de usor in photoshop. daca as fi avut varianta mai mare as fi incercat chiar eu. la copacul mare iei sponge tool il setezi pe desaturate si dai pe copac iar albastrul care a intrat peste crengutele mici banuiesc ca se poate elimina prin aceeasi metoda ca si purple fringingul.

p.s. mi se pare cam ciudat ca la o expunere de f16 5sec sa iasa cerul albastru. in mod normal ar fi trebuit sa fie supraexpus. eu zic ca se poate face un workflow mai simplu in photoshop incat sa faci din alb albastru deschis doar pe o anumita zona fara sa intre pestre negru.

Hi Horia,

This is lovely. The golden reflection on the left creek and the milky blue tint to the right side one is particularly interesting. I read Niek's critique. I don't think your image is tilted... I think you are just lately attracted to tilting trees?!! : ) I took a similar shot yesterday where I got awful fringing of the branches aginst the sky. I thought perhaps it was because my aperture was too wide but that certainly isn't the case here. So you think it is lens quality that causes it?? I was shooting with a very good lens. (Canon 24-70 f2.8) I'm confused : )

What a beautiful and precise long exposure shot. It is really difficult to obtain such a clear and well exposed forest and don't burn the sky, you did it perfectly, congratulations! The water looks beautiful too.
I love this kind of places, and in this shot i can even smell the fungi which is about to appear :)

good to hear you have been busy! And what a great example of exposure control here - a bright, fresh looking day witha long expoure on the stream - nicely done! Obviously the POV is very well chosen too, creating heaps of depth. The reflected green in the left hand fork of the river is a great touch too - well done mate!

I have to say I like this photo a lot.

I have read the other critiques, so wont comment on them... though i did tilt my head to look at the picture..

Anyhow - I really like the dark foreground getting lighter and lighter as it goes to the background and the patches of light there.

Fain. La asta nu mai am ce comenta. Imi place cum se imbina cele doua paraiase, de culori diferite. Chiar nu prea imi explic totusi cum de unul e albastru si celallat galbui, probabil cel galbui era inca in bataia soarelui, iar cel albastru complet in umbra.

Buna Horia,

Acest peisaj cu padurea este foartebine realizat. Timpul relativ mare de expunere ce ti-a permis redarea neclara a apei sugereaza foarte bine curgerea acesteia. Lumina pe care ai redat-o in imagine este foarte frumoasa si ai prezentat bine diferentele mari de luminozitate.

Hi again,
This is indeed a small V and i think i like this one a wee bit more for the rich colours coming alive in this dark woods.

The streams must make it a very charming place to be and it is as if i can hear the water as they pass by, rolling little pebbles on the way.The autumn leaves make it more colourful.
The light of the sun seen in far away BG has an impact on the viewer and makes the composition more cheerful, warm and endearing.

Wonderful PoV and composition friend.
I would love to add this to my "Unforgettable" theme.
