Hello friends,

This is another autumn shot i took this October. Again taken at the "Black Forest", this photo doesn't really do justice to the name of the place :)
The colors here were lovely everywhere and only perhaps a fish-eye lens could have captured enough of the place to show the it's beauty.

Here a small stream caught my attention. It makes 3 little water falls, carving its way through the strata of the rocks and carrying some nice fallen leaves with it. The contrast with the upper part of the scene was also very attractive and, therefore, framing the scene wasn't necessarily the easiest job :)

Hope you'll like it, too and thanks for visiting!

Hi Horia,
A nice capture of this beautiful scenic wood scape. Superb composition and very nice view. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello my TL friend

You nailed this one. The detail is wonderful. Super exposure on the whites too...

Thanks so much for sharing it is beautiful and a pleasure to look at, thank you!

My great grandmother spend her childhood days here. She came to American in the late 1800's and was an integral part of raising me. We had a VERY special bond. And she spoke frequently of the Black Forest and all of the sights, sounds and nature there. I think perhaps this was a part or piece of what made me into what I am today.

This is truly...the very first image I have seen of the Black Forest. I think it is very Jungian that I am doing critiques with my headphones on listening to Mass from Notre Dame. This is the Sunday Mass in which the church celebrates All Souls day. The priest had just now mentioned the explanation and how we should pray for those people who had gone on before us. I did so, then decided to listen while I critique and your image of the Black forest opened up. I cannot tell you how much this and that moment means to me. Thank you so very much and may you be richly Blessed.
Bob

Hi Horia,

The wonderful colours on the trees are at the end now - most of the leaves have fallen down.
I like the red carpets everywhere, so as we can see in your shot, thanks

Hi Horia.
I like such series of the pictures and applied technique. You have mastered it perfectly. Results are always great. Colours and details of the image are amazing as well as the reproduction of three little water falls. POV and composition of the shot are selected skillfully too. Why we have not forests? Well done and all the best.
Yours Alexei.

Hello Horia,

Last couple of days I've been trying to catch up with TN and I must say it is not really possible. So many new faces and only a few I can actually remember. I'm very glad you're still here and going strong ;-) Like your gallery a lot!

This picture is very tranquil. The composition works great with the strem leading the eye into the lovely BG. Good use of slow speed too.

WELL DONE!

Cheers,
Monika

Hello Horia,
You expect a forest to be dark. You addressed that issue in your note. Apparently the available light is sufficient as the image has a certain clarity and is undoubtedly well exposed. So, well done.
Good composition as always. Excellent depth.
Thanks
Annick

Hi Horia. This looks such a relaxing calm place. I good pov but maybe it could have been just slightly lower which may have made more of the little falls. But i must say i do like it . good detail in the tall trees and warm colours in the fallen leaves. well done TFS.

Hello Horia,
Great shot, excellent composition and pov, beautiful autumn colors, good sharpness and depth of field.

Doesn't look much like a "black forest" to me... : ) It looks full of light and air. It is interesting that the leaves on the trees are green and yellow but those on the ground are all brown. It is a gentle landscape nicely exposed and well presented.

Salut
Frumos.
Numai bine, Oana

Hello Horia, Good landscape shot and lovely view. TFS Ganesh

Hi Horia,
You got some really good photos from your trip to the forest. I like that you followed the stream and came up with so many different compositions that do have a relation with one and other.
I like the open feel to the forest a lot. We don't have that that often in our country. I think it allows for much better photography. The colors are lovely and the motion is the stream wonderful.
TFS,
Niek

Salut Horia,
Uite ca am reusit si eu sa-mi fac un pic de timp pentru TN.Ca de obicei un peisaj superb care imi aminteste de locurile copilariei.
Felicitari si tfs!

Hi Horia!

The emotional impact of a picture, its expression and the feeling it generates determine its value. You have the art to create pictures with a high expression. It's sometimes difficult to say what exactly makes that your picture have a better impact than others. Here I would say it's the peaceful atmosphere of that somehow "common", yet so pleasant piece of nature. The simplicity of the content and the composition please me very much. This is pure nature...

Kind regards

Markus

Yet another fabulous autumn shot, Horia!
The colours are so lovely!
Autumn seems to have ceased here already... we've also had the first snow in October for 80 years or something!
Excellent sharpness.
I love the blurred water.

Very well done mate!

Cheers,
Joe

Hello Horia

This is a wonderful landscape image of an autumn stream.
The colours and lighting are excellent,I really like the fallen leaves.
With the foliage thinned out the forest has beautiful light, and you are utilizing it well here.
The exposure is excellent.
Well composed ,the portrait orientation was a good decision.
