A good capture of this Bluetailed Damsel Horia.Resonable sharpness and DOF.
It looks quite orange, and good against the blurred green background.

Hi Horia,
Simple composition, but effective, I like the damselfly posing for you , showing its nice anatomy with good details and colour. Good note with the list of all odonata captured by you....if I see one here I don´t know the name of nobody!! , he,he

26 species of Odonata is more than 30% od Romanian fauna, so first of all - my best congratilation because of so good hunting! :)
I. pumilio is rather rare species in Poland, so as for me it is one more point why this picture is interesting :)
Good light, POV and details too.
Best greetings from snowy and cold Lodz!

Hi Horia.
This shot is so wonderful as previous ones of the same subject. Composition and framing of the scene are great. I like fine colours of the shot, its crisp sharp details and amazing smooth BG richly coloured and damped up. Excellent use of long exposure time and tripod. This year was so poor for damselfly and dragonfly shooting for me and I watch your gallery with such beauties with great interest. Thanks a lot and my kind regards.
Alexei.

Hi Horia!
What a fantastic, small damselfly! I really like its orange colours and dorsal POV. Good BG with lots of green and as always perfect quality.
Now we've got early winter in Poland with lots of snow. It is hard to believe for me that only few months ago I could take pictures of d-flies wearing only t-shirt. I hate northern climate!

Hello Horia,
a beautiful and perfect presentation of this small damselfly species.
Colours and background are natural, pleasant and well designed, respectively.
The bright structure to the right is a little disturbing. But you blurred it sufficiently to reduce this effect.
Best wishes, Peter

Hallo Horia
This The Small Bluetail surely knows how to do the balancing act. This is an amazingly sharp image with clear details, on the paws and wings. The back part of the body looks like it has been made out of a bamboo stick. A lovely image, with great focus and sharpness, presented in a most delightful manner. I like the shiny golden colour of the fly, especially at the rear end. The darker green background compliment the beautiful colours of the damselfly. Thanks for sharing.
Best Regards
Anna
I was also concerned about Greg and is glad to see that he has returned. I missed him around on the site.

Hello Horia,
Nice work my friend..F/14 has shown us your damsel in all her glory.
Quality image with very good detail, color, POV, comp, and use of the ambient light.
I've got this front view of a twelve spotted skimmer at F/11 I should post..a bit short on DOF - But I like it :)
Well done!

I think you must be the most varied and prolific poster of D Flies here on TN! Another great capture mate, everything here is as excellent as were used to from you, well done.

Hi Horia,
Shallow DOF makes this little beautiful dragon stand out very well from the background. Good focus, sharpness, details, POV ,lighting, composition and colors.

All the best,

Buna Horia,
Ce culori frumoase ai reusit sa redai in aceasta fotografie!
Cristian
Hello Horia,
Great macro of this illusive little Ischnura that is not so common in my country but is found near my home.
I like the semi-dorsal POV that shows pretty well all the features of this young orange female with excellent sharpness and in a pleasing classic composition.
Nice to view and thanks for sharing it!
Brest wishes,
Ivan
BTW toying with the idea of Ismir in the spring for our TN meeting:))

Beautiful Horia, it is again well composed and this dragonfly could look like a blade of grass too. Very nice composition with the angular grass and the smooth background. It could be sold as posters or some special cards for its beauty. Thank you Horia, a very nice picture,
Francine
