Hi Horia,
it's always a great spectacle to see them mating and to see how acrobatic they do it.
It's a beautiful couple here with nice colours and I also like the little mirror-effect in the water. Such a long time until we can see them again, so thanks for the shot

Hello Horia,
27 species of dragons in one year is very good going!
This is a fine capture of a pair of ovipositing C. puellas taken from a fine low POV with excellent sharpness and lighting in a pleasing composition that includes part of their refection in the water.
TFS this beauty and enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Cheers,
Ivan

When the picture opened, I heard classical music, a ballet. That's what it looks like. So beautiful, Horia. A superb poetic shot. It's a good thing that you chose to place the dragonfly in the center of the frame, which is vertical, it makes the dragonfly stands out on the leaves, with a perfect sharpness and dof. Thanks to you!

Buna Horia,
Cristian

An almost dreamlike feel to this shot.
It is like a pond ballet.
Excellent low POV and well handled DOF.
The colours are natural and well saturated.

Hello Horia
I see this as a scenery taken from a fairy tale. The action captured is really great and one must have a great imagination and a whole story will unfold in front of your eyes just looking at these two doing their mating acrobatic moves. It actually looks as if they try to impress each other with their different motions and movements. This image is lovely with great details captured. Best regards.

Hi Horia.
Amazing close-up and brilliant use lovely Sigma telelens. I like impressive DOF and surrounding blurriness. You have reproduced water plants so poetically. Composition created from two charming insects is looked greatly. Sharpness and richness of colours are stunning. Vertical orientation of the scene is very nice and suitable for this subject. My best wishes and TFS.

Hi Horia
Watching these guys go through their mating rituals always amuses me. Some males are protective of their mates and others are not, especially when she is laying her eggs.
And how do they manage to ballance like that, or even fly while joined together. Nature is amazing.
Great capture here, I have been watching your battle with Greg, 27 species in a year is a great effort.
The weather here continues to be crazy, the 5th weekend in a row with rain, wind and cold.

Beautiful capture Horia! This one really stands out from the rest. The DOF attention is right on the subject with both background and foreground being soft. Ambient lighting is very natural. TFS

Dear Horia,
wonderful gently atmospheric presentation of fragile azures in their quite bizarre looking pose of making love.
I like the image's depth, gentle colours, skilful composition, and its self forgotten lovely actors.
With thanks, and all my best wishes to you for a happy and beautiful new year!
Peter
