Hello Horia,
You're sooo lucky to have captured this wonderful dragonfly and I don't understand how you could keep it back for so long!! I've hardly been able to see it in a settled position! This is an excellent presentation, both captures being very sharp and taken from different interesting angles. Beautiful colours too and well composed.
Many thanks and have a nice weekend! Ulla

Hello Horia,
This is great!
An excellent duo of a male A. imperator.
I like that you have been able to take both dorsal and lateral POV's with excellent sharpness and lighting. Both shots are clean and uncluttered.
I have yet to be able to take a shot of one resting like this!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Have a good weekend my friend,
Ivan

HI Horia,
as Ulla said, you are a lucky guy to capture this wonderful dragon.
I never saw one sitting - and I don't have a single shot of it ;-(
Yours are very good, I like the different POV together in one collage, thanks, beautiful

Hi Horia.
Don't be so modest. You have shared a fine pictures. Very nice pictures reflecting a cute natural surroundings and beautiful dragonflies. Very attractive POVs, excellent details of the insects and very nice blurriness of the BG. Both pictured are selected and compiled into collage very well. Similarity of the colorations and scene are very pleased for look. Well done, as always, and kind regards.
Alexei.

Hello Horia
This is a great post showing 2 differing views of this wonderful Emperor. You have done well to find him at rest at 5pm on a sunny day..Maybe he was digesting an earlier caught meal..The dof is touch off on the picture on the right which lacks a little wing detail but this by no means detracts from a fantastic post.
All the Best
Billy

excellent presentation with the dual visual for this wonderful Anax imperator.
Another big presence in your large archive of dragonflies..compliments sERGIO

Hello my dear competitor :-)

Yes, as name states, Anax Imperator is real ruler and without it your list would be incomplete. I'm glad that you've met and captured this splendid insect. I prefer left picture - there is something really great with pose and composition of Imperator. Both have got excellent colours.

This year was really fruitfull in d-flies field for both of us. I really enjoyed our competition and I hope we'll do something similiar next year!

I'm ready for TN meeting also :-)

Hello Horia

A very good composition with these two shots of the emperor.
The details are very good with sharp focus.
Lovely colour, the blue and green stand out.
Very good POV.

Hi Horia!

I appreciate this unusual presentation of two pictures in one very much, and it's well done. I believe that this kind of presentation rather signalizes a scientific aspect, but both picture also have the perfect quality we are used from you. I especially like the vertical lines and the well fitting vertical orientation of the pictures. Moreover, the two pictures create a pleasant combination.

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Horia !
Congratultions on Nr 28, it's a wonderful one ! I love its colors. Ans the pictures are beautiful too, it's nice to have two of them showing the insect from different POVs. Each one is very nicely done, with sharp details, natural colors, beautiful BGs - very well done !
Valerie.

PS : Must be great to have seen and photographed so many different species of damsel- and dragonflies.

Hi Horia,
a great pair of shots of this Emperor Dragonfly.
Very, very sharp.
Superb colours.
Great DOF.

Well done mate,

Joe

Horia,
Well I'm glade you're the one to keep track of all this different species of the dragon flies. I'll be so lost. I love bugs, I always tried to catch them when I was little kid. glass hopper, dragonflies, crickets, lady bug, ...bugs, I love them all some had face on it's wings. I can't even tell you all the name of them. Okay, about your photos here, I love them both. a good combination of tow different POV, excellent details. Good sharpness and clarity, so sharp they look 3D, I'm afraid if I type to loud I chase them away. Thanks Horai. If I don't write you between now and Christmas, Have a Merry Christmas. Hugs.

Hi Horia,
Your list is becomming longer and longer. You should make it in a book with one page for each species with a description next to it. I am sure that its value is high for many biologie students. I even might buy one for the sake that it is yours.
The photos are both wonderful. Not only in an photography way, but also in showing the details of the particular species. I love the clean look of both of them a lot.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Horia,
