Hi Horia!
Great to see you again. I like pictures with dew and this one is no exception. Very nice composition with delicate colours. Insect is detailed and sharp. Pity that DOF isn't deeper and we can't see more drops. Anyway - great macro and I'll wait for wet d-flies :-)
One question - I'm also going to take similiar pictures with dew on insect - how early I should go to meadow?

Salut
Numai bine, Oana

Minefield..a word I only hear of on TV...at any rate it makes for a very unusual image...one which takes a bit of thinking....quite the damp weather...so the image also passes beyond its simple focus of a grasshopper with extra long antenna, to the dew drops and complex formations...a picture worthy of some thought!

Hello Horia,
Fantastic and original photo. The POV is really perfect. Excellent colours, also in the OOF BG. The sharp focus on the grasshopper is very good.

Peter

Hi Horia,
Really cool shot! The bubble texture makes this even more of an interesting photo. Exposure seems right on the money. :)

Hi Horia.
It is very interesting but there are many tiny grasshoppers in our places this year. Many of them have different coloration. I think these are different species too. You have pictured yours at so attractive scenery. Necklace from dew is amazing and form a stunning stage for tiny beauty. I also like soft lighting and almost neutral smooth BG. POV is also brilliant as well as the composition of the shot. Well done and TFS. And many thanks for nice comments. All of them are great always.
Alexei.

Hello Horia,
An superb artistic capture of a species of Bush Cricket because of the long antennae. This early nymph stage makes the ID difficult but looks like it is a species of Conocephalus, probably discolor
+: Sharpness, DOF, pose, POV, BG, composition, colours and lighting.
-: none, nice that you were able to include the long antennae, one with fine sharpness with the low light.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan
