[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi friends

I've just returned from a 2 day trip to some lower mountains not far from my hometown. The scenery wasn't that amazing but i managed to find some interesting subjects to focus my attention on...little things that nature holds as presents :)

I found a nice big bunch of young ferns that were just about the unveil a new set of leaves and i found these little swirls quite photogenic. I spent around an hour shooting them from different angles and with different lenses.
One thing i was glad of was the fact that my polarizer fits both of my lenses :) It came in very handy here - on my dedicated macro lens - to cut the reflections from the little leaves.

Hi Horia,
A skilled photographer like yourself never comes back empty handed ;o) Great use of a narrow DOF here and a lovely composition too. The background is wonderfully soft giving this an almost dreamy feel. Colours are also well reproduced. Fine work my friend, well done!

Very special picture! As you said - delicate and arty. I love shallow DOF with only tip of fern in focus. Beautifull diagonal composition, fresh colours and perfect POV. It looks like picture of flying bird. Superb work my friend!

Hi Horia.
I like your so artistic shot. Its subject is wonderful. Composition created by plant, lights and shadows is amazing. Passage from sharpness and blurriness is awesome and lights add colours are very delicate and fine for eyes. Well done. So refined work. Bravo.

Very neat use of your depth...Can't say for sure because I didn't see it...but maybe I would have increased depth 2 f stops......and I mean that in a polite way as you are a great imager...but just for the heck of it...to get back to honest crits....is that ok with you I hope?....Otherwise great to see you posting.
