[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Commonly known as Cotton Grass belonging to the family Cyperaceae, grow wild in boggy places of the Northern Hemisphere. Eriophorum produces flat, leathery, grass-like leaves from creeping, underground rhizomes. It bears tassels of white flowers that look like tufts of silky cotton, thus the common name. This plant grows up to a foot high in acidic soil, in sun or partial shade.

Hi Lucian,
Beatiful photo showing the large quantity of cotton grass in this field. Excellent work on the small aperture, getting the grass in the FG in full focus and giving the BG some shapes.

Hello Parvulescu,
a great composition. It is a really nice image. One comment on the crop (?). The white flower is now cut on 3/4. Maybe it would have been nicer to leave it in completely. Regards, Jacob
