[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dice snake - natrix tessellata, a non-venomous snake.
Location: Baile Herculane, Romania, near Cerna River.
Dimension: about 35-40 cm long (maximum size is between 1.0-1.3 m long).
The picture was taken in the evening of a sunny day, at 18.00-18.30 o'clock. The snake was on the sand, near the Cerna River at about 300 meters from Roman Hotel, and he was quite vivacious (mating season...). I saw many snakes in the neighbourhood, dice-snakes (natrix tessellata) and grass snakes (natrix natrix), but unfortunately, a lot of them are killed by cars when they cross the road from the forest to the river.

Buna Mircea,

Ai realizat o fotografie foarte buna cu acest sarpe. POV-ul ales ti-a permis sa redai bine capul si o parte din corp. Imaginea este clara astfel incat detaliile capului pot fi bine observate. Trebuie spus ca ai folosit bine flash-ul obtinand o iluminare buna si culori naturale.

Un nota mai consistenta despre conditiile in care ai realizat fotografia ar fi fost utila.
