| The Scarce copper Lycaena virgaureae has to be one of the most strikingly coloured Butterflies in Europe. They are quite common in the Alps, Pyrenees and other mountain ranges, up to 2000m and are always a joy to behold. Wing length 16-17 mm. Male (in this photo) has an orange upper side, the female is more yellow-ish with dark brown drawings. |

Hello Ioana,
The composition is very nice (however maybe a tiny bit too confined in the lower left corner - I know I'm a pain in the a... :-)). I like also the accurate exposition, amazingly vivid colours and contrast they make with the background. A minus is a very limited DOF and a bit messy background.
