Amazon aquarium shot of Papiliochromis Ramirezi.

The photo seems to be underexposed but I posted it because, In my opinion, I consider this fish to be the most beautiful freshwater aquarium fish.

Males are generally larger and have elongated rays at the front of the dorsal fin. Females are smaller with a more rounded body shape, and have a pinkish area on the stomach

Una hermosa imagen Catalin de este macho tan llamativo por su coloración y su típica postura para intimidar a otros machos o llamar la atención de la hembra.
Coincido en que esta especie de cíclido es una de las más bellas de agua dulce, por su pequeño tamaño y su imponente presencia.
He criado a esta especie (cuando todavía se la conocía como Apistogramma) con bastante dificultad, pero logrando algún desove hace años, cuando el acuario era una de mis pasiones.
Buena captura, con agudeza y foco... gracias por compartirla.

Beautiful image Catalin of this so attractive male's for their coloration and their typical posture for to intimidate other males or to get the attention of the female.
I coincide in that this cíclido species is one of the most beautiful of freshwater, for its small size and its imposing presence.
I have reproduced to this species (when still knew it to him as Apistogramma) with enough difficulty, but achieving some spawned many years ago, when the aquarium was one of my passions.
Good capture, with sharpness and focus... thank you for sharing.
