I managed to escape to the mountains again this weekend and had a great time together with some friends.
We enjoyed the very nice (and quite warm for this time of the year) weather and i also managed to take some good shots...mostly macros, though.
However, this shot here was taken one morning as some were enjoying their cu of coffee and having breakfast. How would you like to wake up with such a view? :)
Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting.
For more shots, feel free to check my website.

It's a view i would love, and one i hope to share with you next year! The portrait format works perfectly here, emphasising the strong vertical element to the shot. The f/4 has isolated the trees in the foreground very well against those lurking in the hazy background. Great composition too, well done mate, a 'Bogdan Classic'!

Horica,

Hello Horia,
outstanding scenery picture.
Picture reminds of a magical place.
Excellently composed image.

Hi Horia,
I'm glad you were able to get to the mountains again before the snows! The composition you chose is effective with the 4 wedge shaped sections with the taller tress interlocking them. The morning sunlight on a few adds interest and impact to an otherwise muted scene. The morning fog "feels" to me a tad too blue. I might have tried to alter the color cast a bit??? maybe it is just my display and my eyes and...... : )

Hi Horia,
I am sure breakfast tasted so much better with such a view. I like the combination of the diagonal lines created by the hills with the vertical lines of the trees. The natural haze gave a nice contrast effect to the shot.
