The Niobe Fritillary (Argynnis niobe) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is common throughout Europe, but absent from Northern Europe, and is also found in Siberia, Russia, Iran, China and Korea[1].
Flight is from May to August, Size is between 46mm and 60mm, and is found at altitudes between sea level and 2,400m.[2]
This spicies has a brown-orange background with black dots and stripes.
