not so long ago i said that i have problems with exposure on this species. you can see the picture and my comment here:

I must totally agree with marhowie affirmation:
"Much of it depends on the time of day and the lights direction"
but if you ask me when is the time of day more better and which angle the light should come ... i have no idea.
i don't know why but i skipped this image. today i saw this and observe that it has a much better exposure. now i also have a different workflow, after i receive some complains regarding noise on my images. the images with my new workflow have a small black frame. those with the old workflow have white frame with shadow and the Eliz-Eagle signature :)
in a few days i will delete the old one.

Hi Anghel,
This is a nice and sharp capture of this heron. You chose judicious composition with good exposure and details. Settings you used are interesting and worked well. ISO 400 didn’t created apparent noise. I mostly use ISO 100 or 200 for this reason but here it looks great ! Thanks,
