Excellent title for this interesting fungi. It looks so penile (LOL).
Despite your warning, I would love to know whatthe Romanian name is and what it means, cultural interpretation is just part of nature.
The shot is great. We have similar species in Australia, but I have not seen one yet.

Jokes appart, is a good sharp and well exposed image. I only felt it slightly flat and I guess it's the old Zenit lens. I did a WS to apply Multi-coating to your lens.

Always a good subject, although to get a good macro, you will have a smell effort.
A very descriptive shot, with good angle, light and distributed colors make a good composition.

Hi Petru
When I saw this photo on the thumbnail my immediate thoughts was; "Who is trying to be funny?" Then I noticed the title, and I had a closer look at the thumbnail, and I realized that maybe nature is trying to tell us something (in its own unique way) about how we rape this lovely planet of ours. I've heard the real (natural) item is sometimes called a "violator", and that seems to fit with the message that Janice Dunn (jancie) conveyed with her posting of "Nature at its Worst".

I'm not sure if it is just my monitor, but it seems to be a touch low on saturation & contrast. In my personal opinion I think the workshop by Alain Thibodeau (Athila) underlined this aspect.

Very well done on the composition, DOF, and the "angle" of the note. TFS.
