I have to beggin with a great THANKS to Michal Grabowski (cedryk) for beeing nice and do this identification for me. Without his help, this picture would be entitled "Jon Doe".

Name: Ruptela maculata
Family: Cerambycidae (long-horned beetles)

A rather large longhorn beetle with a black and yellow pattern.
Larvae prefers dead wood, often in smallish branches (therfore helping the "recycling"). Adults like umbel flowers, but they won't avoid other plants (here on Cirsium - thistle).
Widespread and common most parts of Europe.

Nice shot Petru!
It has great colours and details, nice lighting too. I just have feeling that the beetle is overhelmed a bit with the flowers that seem to be the main subject.
But the photo looks great anyway and I like it.

Thank you very much for such nice words :-) I'll always do my best if you have something to identify. Within my knowldge limits of course :-)
I like your shot - the main object isn't too big but it's nicely illustrated in the natural environment. I like the colours and contrast as well.

The species you posted is closely related to the one that Monika (thistle) has shown today, but it's not same.
Both species are common in Europe, their larvae feed on various deciduous trees (life cycle 2-4 years) and the adults feed on flowers.

On first look I saw only plang, but aftr detail look I saw a wonderful bug (long-horned beetle)Nice macro and good POV.

A good shot, but I keep wanting to zoom in to see more detail on the subject. It nicely shows the habitat though, well done!
