Lazy frog, seems to be a little tired laying there in this cool position.
You found a beautiful frog, Petru, I like the colours so much. Sharpness on the eye could be a little better, anyway I like it very much, good work and thanks for sharing.

Nice and funny shot although quite soft in focus.
Are you sure it's Rana temporaria? To me it could be Rana dalmatina as well! Have you checked the length of the legs?

This frog looks like is resting on a branch.
Good colors and light. unfortunately is out of focus in the eye zone.

Poti sa treci la titlul pozei Rana dalmatina (broasca rosie de padure). In fine, in engleza este: Agile Frog.
Cealalta specie (R. temporaria) are botul mai rotunjit, si corpul este ceva mai masiv decat la exemplarele de dalmatina.
De altfel, chiar si daca se ia ca reper poza aceasta, si pui aproximativ lungimea femur+tibie+metatarsiene, incheietura (la care face referire unul dintre cei care ti-au scris) ajunge dincolo de varful botului.
Vad ca la denumirea populara de la Rana temporaria ai scris: "Red Forest Frog".
Aceasta insa este o traducere mot-a-mot a denumirii populare in romana de la Rana dalmatina.
In schimb la denumirea stiintifica ai indicat Rana temporaria, a carei denumire populara in engleza este "Common Frog".
Mai pe scurt: corecteaza denumirea astfel: Rana dalmatina (Agile Frog)

Hola Petru. Muy buena captura de esta rana. Hermosos colores. Me gusto la posicion del anfibio abrazando la rama. El enfoque no es perfecto, pero vale el esfuerzo realizado.
