sorry i've missed your past couple of posts, they are both truly beautiful! All that's missing from them is a big, black Gothic Horse drawn Carriage racing through the trees! The ambience and mood you have caught here is just fantastic, and so well done. Literally perfect exposure and composition and DOF. Skillful work my friend.

Gee, that "gloomy afternoon" gave a number of nice photos. I think I may like this one best. I may have toned down a little the one bright little bush on the left because it catches my eye and keeps me from going down that gloomy road. : )

Hi Steve

Another splendid fall scene from my beloved Transylvania :)
Unlike the other two shots, you really benefitted from these beautiful and almost vivid colors here in creating a magical contrast between the leaves and the dark barks and the misty atmosphere.
The result is a splendid image, full of mixed emotions and mood...very hard to get!
The composition is again terrific, with that nice country road leading into the depth of the woods and with the nice colorful elemes in the FG that almost like mask the mistery that lies beneath :))
Overeall: superb work!

This is an amazing shot....the colors are perfect, the winding road leads into the photo and makes me feel like I"m really going into that gorgeous forest. Beautiful!!

You captured a wonderful piece of Transylvania. I know the area as well. As a child
I visited many times with my parents. I like the colors on this picture.
The mist gives a very mysterious atmosphere to it. Well done!
