Hi Steve

This is a splendid photo and i think you did a great job in posting such a "misterious misty forest" from Transylvania on the eve of Halloween. They really fit together perfetly.
The atmosphere is in this picture is simply outstanding and the composition you created is terrific.
I really like that wet patchway that leads to...who knows..again mistery :)
The FG is well illuminated here by the yellow abd very beautiful fallen leaves, and i consider that a very attractive element of the scene.
Really great work!

Aha...Another who think as I. And All-hallow-even, as it is the eve of "All Hallows' Day". So the landscape, I fear to call it so, is beckoning to unwitting travelers. An image of foggy mystery. Somewhat, dare I say, "cleaver": of nature to have more than one meaning.'Tis a trap. You shall not return?! Very good picture most kind sir. I think I shall leave a tip and pass on the other way...

oooooh... creepy! : ) ..and quite beautiful. I love the foggy atmosphere and the wonderful autumn colors disappearing into it. This is wonderful. I was out of town for quite a while and notice I've missed a lot of you posts. If and when I get a chance I'll have to check out your gallery.

Hi Steve,
I see I have missed some really beautiful photos from you. I do hope I find the time in the next couple of days to critique each one of them. A few weeks ago I wrote that I find forest photography the most difficult thing to master, and your photos show me how I should approach this. So each of them is a great inspiration for me. I do have to say that an open forrest and fog does help a lot.
I love the soft tones here and the extreem depth. The silhouttes of the trees do add a kind of ghosty touch to the photo and does fit the famous area of transilvania perfectly.
