Hi!

this time i will continuethe brown but this will not be simple :)

this was done reading the note of Christopher_PL about his last adition... a moth like a drunker at the wheel (when is flying).
why?
because the male of this species is the same, like a drunker. and i think a little maybe he really is a drunker, but because of the female smell.

so... this is a male of Macrothylacia rubi (Fox Moth)... red like a fox, just born. in the WS you can see from where it was born. i never imagine that the cocon can be so large (in comparation with pupa).

is a common species (at least here in romania) and the female is laying the eggs on Rubus leaves. (please be aware that the female and eggs are not photographed in the same place).

Wow!
What a marvellous capture of this beautiful and curious moth!
I had never seen this kind and I really like it, with those round wings and lovely antenae.
A great shot in sharpness, focus, DOF, POV and composition. Excellent light and colors too.

you have beautifully captured a faultless specimen of rubi with 100% intact wing scales and body 'hairs'. Perfect point of view and nice composition.

Foarte misto poza! Imi place foarte mult DOF-ul folosit aici, care a uniformizat bine BG-ul, lasand acele antene mari si "pompoase" :) sa iasa asa de bine in evidenta.
Detalii super si culori frumoase.
De compozitie nu sunt cel mai sugur...dar aia ramane la latitudinea fiecaruia :)

Beautifulness and skillfulness of your picture are simply outstanding without any doubts for me. Bravo and my congratulations. Superb work.

Inclined twig and terrific in its beauty moth are looked excellently. The reproduction of these subjects are simply great. Lighting is wonderful as well as the tremendous BG.

En primer lugar gracias por la inf. sobre "cleridae", ya que no soy experto en insectos. No había entrado en tu galería pero veo que eres un gran fotógrafo. Esta foto que muestras es excelente por el enfoque y porque además se un poco el hábitat de este insecto ( parece que está sobre una rosaceae). Un saludo desde España y buenas fotos Cosmin !!
