This is a stunning POV Horia with excellent details and beautiful light in its numerous eyes :) I like those spider a lot but I don't think that we have them here. You are right by saying that they are very photogenic. The light reflects so well in its beautiful eyes. I like this low POV. This is very well done and who knows what you'll find the next when you'll take out the trash :-)

I really tried to find any similar species to this one to send you ID but till now without any success :( I this is not my last word ;)
The picture is really great and I can imagine that jumping spiders (next to reptiles and dragonflies) very soon will be your favourite group ;) And that is goo for all of us!
This is really splendid macro, perfect details, very good flash, colors, and interesting POV. Maybe only FG taks to much space of picture but I really like this picture :)

Great picture of this beautiful spider. Very good sharpness with so many details especially sharp eyes. Very nice colours too.

I have some pictures of jumping spiders too and I know how difficult it is to get a nice picture of them. They actually move very fast and it is very difficult to keep them in focus with the little dof you can get with a macro lens.

You did a great job here - tfs.

I feel a bit CSI today, I am sure that if you zoomed the eyes infinite times, you will find the whole lanscape in 20x20 pixels :)))

Hi Horia,

to be honest I didn't like your most recent photo (of a frog looking out from the water) so I came to your gallery to see what else you have. Most of your pictures are truly amazing, I never even see these animals let alone take such great pictures of them. I liked this spider particularly much, its beady eyes looking straight at me - it is a little cute :) I love the sharpness and the small DOF which allows me to concentrate on those eyes. Great job!

Hi Horia, this is an amazing Spider! He sure is fluffy and looks like he has a lot of character. Are there 4 eyes? Your pov is perfect on this, exposure also perfect and light and colour superb. I must go and look them up.
