Taken some minutes after my previous post was taken.
I would be pleased if you told me your opinion about the photo!
Trametes versicolor, formerly known as Coriolus versicolor, is a common polypore mushroom of the genus Trametes. Versicolor means 'of several colours' and it is true that this mushroom is found in a wide variety of different colours. T. versicolor is commonly called the "Turkey Tail" in the United States because of its resemblance to the tail of the turkey bird. The turkey tail has bioremediation potential; T. versicolor biodegrades a variety of pollutants*. T. versicolor is also used in Chinese medicine, in mandarin it is called "yun zhi, 云芝“
The species is one of the most commonly encountered polypores in Europe and is found practically all over the world.
The top surface of the cap shows typical concentric zones of different colours. Flesh 1-3 mm thick, leathery texture. Cap with rust-brown or darker brown, sometimes blackish zones, Older specimens, such as the one pictured at right, can have zones green algae growing on them, thus appearing green. Commonly grows in tiled layers. Cap flat, up to 8 x 5 x 0,5-1 centimeters, often triangular or round, with zones of fine hairs. Pore surface whitish to light brown, pores round and with age twisted and labyrinthine. 2-5 pores per millimeter

very good DOF & sharpness
Dejan
Hi Marton.
I find this photo very artistic, the shapes and colours on the foreground make a good contrast agaist the well blured background. It is sharp and clear.
It looks a bit too red for my personal taste, but it is a beautiful shot. Thanks and regards.
Nice colourful shot.
Szia Marci!
Ahogy előzőleg ígértem, itt véleményezem a fotót.
A leveleket Te tetted a tönkre? Akár igen, akár nem, telitalálat. :)
Tfs és baráti üdv Laci
Update 25th of June: helyesbítek - 100%-ig Trametes versicolor.
