Superb composition, light and colours. POV is also great. I love this scene - three crockuses looks like people with arms craned to the sun. Great warm mood and nice shadowplay on petals. Excellent post!

Hi Joanna,
Spring was late and cold in Romania too this year. You were lucky to catch some sun in your trip here. Usualy the spring flowers around here are not bothered by the bad weather. We still have this crocuses flowering in the mountains (above 1000m; spring is coming later there) they are a lot, making purple carpets on meadows. Did you know that 1 in about 50 has the flower white?
Did you see any?

Do you know if this beaytiful flower is the crocus used in kitchen? The photo is very good, but... some parts of leaves are white (excess of light?) (I have the same problem with may daisy).
Here in Spain is easy to see this flower. I'll try to shot one.
