Another picture of my favourite Romanian frog - Hyla arborea. This time another uncommon coloration, but a very common posture: "sticked" to a tree. It is very easy of them to climb trees this way due to the discs on their toes. Their skin color ranges from bright to olive green, grey, brown and yellow, but only in rare cases you get to meet a specimen with a blend between two colors (don't ask me exactly which ones in this case...it says in my intro i'm partially color-blind:))
Hope you like it:)
Post processing - with Photoshop:
Cropped, sharppened a bit and resized for TN. No color adjustments. Soory about the mediocre quality...it simply wouldn't fit the 200kB limit :( |

Hello Horia,
Nice shot! I've never seen such colouration, in fact all I see here are bright green ones!
Picture has nice POV showing the climbing frog well. I think composition is too centered. I would crop some on the left and add a bit more to the right. Since the frog is looking right then it would be better to give it more space to look at.
Overall, very interesting post!
WELL DONE!

A great POV of this lovely frog, Horia.
Very interesting posture... stuck to a tree like that.
Why does he want to climb up a tree? What is there for him?
I really the coloring on him. Very sharp details.
TFS. : )

great shot of this frog, as you say he is a strange colour, cross between light brown and green I would say, but then am have colour problems as well (after a head injury left me unconscious for 13hrs)...
Like you notes as well.

Foarte bine prinsa.
