The flies which were enjoying the sunshine on the ground flew away as I came closer to see is there anything interesting for me to shoot.
Only one was still trembling in the grass not aware of my presence, how strange, I thought, a green fly I have never seen before and she doesn't run.
Then I saw the problem,
the predator was already feeding on her eyes as the rest of her body desperately tried to resist. |

Hi Tanja,
Interesting behavior, I agree. But I think the "problem" here is that the spider has chosen such a well-obscured ambush site that she's hard for us to see. And even once we see her, we can't see her eating, which leaves us feeling unresolved. Looks like a challenging setting, with little hope for improving the angle...
