Many stink bugs and shield bugs are considered agricultural pest insects, because they can create large populations; they suck plant juices and damage crop production, and they are resistant to many pesticides. However, some genera of Pentatomidae are considered highly beneficial.

This bug is a Mediterranean species from the Pentatomidae family.It look very similar to another called Carpocoris mediterraneus.

This is a great closeup look at this shield bug. Its shield is quite spectacular with its shape and colours. The image is of good quality with a nice DOF and the flower is such a lovely colour. Good one.

I like your so impressive shot. Scene is unusual and perfect. Sharp FG and main subject combines with fine blurred BG excellently. DOF is really great. I also like sharpness and details of the bug and flowers. POV is unique too. My compliments and kind regards.
