Love bugs holding together... :)
These are field moths, Cercopis vulnerata
Length 9mm
Distinctive, shiny red and black froghopper. Found resting on low vegetation and jumps well to escape danger. Common and widespread in hedgerows, woodland rides and meadows; seen from May to August. Feeds on plant sap. Nymphs found on roots. |

Hi Tanja,
Greatly capturing this couple. Nice DoF, not as sharp as we would like, but colors are great.
Nice shot.

Bravo, Tanja.
I like your beautiful picture so much. Excellent scene, amazing combination of the green plant, red-black bugs and light-blue sky. Very artistic shot. Details and sharpness of the main objects are perfect too. You have applied crop very well. Superb job. My best regards.
Alexei.

Hi, I think it is not a moth but a froghopper (Cercopis vulnerata). They are related to cicadas.
