No it's not a famous painter, it's just nature at it's best.
I left some fresh coconut in the back of my fridge for two weeks, someone gave it to me and as I didn't like the taste I forgot all about it.
It was hidden on the lower shelf behind other groceries and meanwhile some fungi civilisations emerged.
They looked quite colorful and to my surprise they were all colours and shapes from fuzzy white to clumpy yellow and red.
I recognize only penicilium but I don't know what others are, I decided to keep them to see what happens next. |

This came out with cold temperature, in the fridge. If you leave it out for some days you will have a bloom of molds making a speed competition to take advantage of your coconut :)
I like this "extreme nature shots" , what is wilder than this creatures invading human food sanctuary? :)
Best regards, Felipe.

Hello Tanja,
That's something unusual to have a picture of mould on TN :-) Very well done. In fact when I looked at the thumbnail I din't have an idea what may be on the picture.
The composition is really nice. Colours could be enhnced a bit though :-)
Best greetings,
Michal
Magníficos colores aunque provengan de donde vienen.
Una imagen original Tanja.
Un saludo, JL.

Hi Tanja.
The Nature is really great painter. Your shot shows it perfectly but sometimes some details excessive. I mean note and origin of this phenomenon. However you are right. The truth is above all. My best regards and TFS.
Alexei.
Hi Tanja,
Very creative this presentation!
It's amazing the diversity of colours and textures that grew in the coconut.
It's like a close up of a painting, and the dots resembles to me the effect of an airbrush.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
