| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Common seen on fields and meadows, this little brown butterfly is a common butterfly found in grassy places.A very widespread, and often extremely numerous species. It is quite a variable species however and is prone to fading towards the end of summer.
The male is mostly brown while the female has more orange around the eye spots.
I had some difficulty because photo was taken in the noon when the sunlight was brightest, but that's the time butterflies are active, so some parts on the photo are bit overexposed.
Could you help me with the ID
Maniola jurtina
or
Hyponephele Lycaon? |
