This is flower of Epilobium hirstum. Realy is 1 cm big, but here looks like "big flower" (rose etc.):-).
Epilobium is a genus of about 160-200 species of flowering plants in the family Onagraceae, native to temperate and subarctic regions of both hemispheres. The most the most frequently recognized members of the genus is Fireweed or Rosebay Willowherb (E. angustifolium. (Wikipedia) |

Hello Iveta
Welcome to treknature
You have taken a picture with lovely colours and detail considering the flower is only 1cm. I love the bud to the left of the picture. You have added a very informative note which is great. My only criticism is that I think the border detracts from what is a wonderfully taken picture.
Keep the pictures coming Iveta
Best Regards
Paul
I simply love this picture Iverta. A flower so beautiful in its violet color and you captured it with a feeling, emotion. Very well done and nicely framed.

Dear Iveta,
a nicely composed presentation of Epilobium hirsutum. Looks very good to see both the open blossom and the bud so well combined in sharp focus in front of the distant background.
With thanks, andbest regardsm
