Any help on what kind of fower this is would be nice. It turned out nicer than I had thought at first, and thought it might be nice to share and hear suggestions on. No PP work.

Hi Colin and welcome to TN. I like the simplicity of this, the focus is a little soft on some parts of the flower and the green hues are a little too much. F2.8 is very shallow DOF for a macro of htis nature, you'll need to go to a higher F-stop. It's a very nice idea.
